蘑菇传媒 (蘑菇传媒) is thrilled to announce that Sharon Alexander, a dedicated educator, nurse, and community advocate, has been named the 2024 蘑菇传媒 & 蘑菇传媒D's Alumnus of the Year. A graduate of 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 esteemed nursing program, Alexander has made a profound impact on healthcare and education within 蘑菇传媒 and beyond.

Since earning her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1981, Alexander has exemplified the values of compassion, expertise, and service. She has held leadership roles at 蘑菇传媒 Community Hospital and Parkview Community Hospital and now serves as a full-time faculty member at 蘑菇传媒, where she mentors aspiring nurses and ensures the next generation of healthcare professionals is well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

In addition to her academic contributions, Alexander is a driving force behind the 蘑菇传媒 Free Clinic. For the past decade, she has coordinated 蘑菇传媒 nursing students' participation, empowering them to provide compassionate care to underserved populations. Her leadership extends to 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 Nursing Alumni Panel and collaborations with Moreno Valley College to deliver health screenings to vulnerable communities.
